Tennessee Rand Selected as Vendor and Supplier for Volkswagen Chattanooga

As a local supplier with Automotive industry experiece, Tennessee Rand has been selected as a vendor to support Volkswagen as they build their new assembly plant here in Chattanooga.   Several contracts have been awarded ranging from manufactured assemblies to be installed on the plant floor to machined components to assist in building some of the first cars to be built in the Chattanooga facility.  We are also supplying  on site services including robot programming, laser  support, etc., to both VW and their suppliers working in the plant such as Fanuc robotics.

With 35 CNC machining centers and 3 shifts of manufacturing capacity, a team of in-house designers, robot programmers, controls engineers, and mechanical technicians,  Tennessee Rand has the capabilities and the quick turn around time necessary to support a plant of this size.  We are excited that VW has chosen our city as the site of their only assembly plant in the US and we look forward to supporting them through their years here in Chattanooga.
